Abstract
This project follows a winding road of research that led to the creation of a therapeutic activity card deck. What began as an exploration of Black Feminist Thought and its application in mental health care to connecting the dots between cultural humility in art therapy, intersectionality, and decolonial mental health to inform the creation of the deck, Shed It All. To resist the impact of intersectional oppression on our minds Shed It All initiates a process of reflection on, repair to, and re-imagining of our mental health and wellbeing through creative expression.
