Minutes of the University Activities Board
Clarion University Of Pennsylvania
Tuesday, November 1, 2016
I.
The meeting was called to order by Schuyler Caffrey at __7:33__ PM on November 1,
2016 with the following board members present:

Approval of minutes of the regular meeting of October 25th, 2016
- A motion was made by __Carly Zukowski___, second by __Vickash Sasenarine___,
that the minutes of the previous meeting be approved as distributed.
• Motion carried: 10-0-1
Open Forum
- Dr. Elisabeth Sauvage-Callaghan, French Advisor, resurrected last year and has a
limited budget to $500
• Idea: November 13 event that would like collaboration with
• Soccer tournament from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Recreation Center
• First Clarion World Soccer Tournament
• Students would register through email at esauvage@clarion.edu (teams
of at least 6 people)
• UAB plans to donate cups and/or rubber bracelets for participants

IV.
Would like help with advertising
• Would also like to establish a seasonal event in which students craft Holiday
Cards
• No date set as of today
• First week in December
• Week before finals would like to add the program into the Relaxation
Week events
• Estimated materials $80
- Policy Procedure Handbook
• Submit long-term and short-term goals
- Skoop TV Showcase concert
• April 29
• Open showcase as an insight into growing up as an inner-city kid
• Trying to get other off-campus groups involved
• Need funded????
