Ceremony
On Wednesday April 20th, the Edinboro Honors College held a Recognition Ceremony at
the Alumni House. We recognized and thanked the amazing professors and students who
present enrichment meetings, teach Honors courses, oversee Honors Contracts, and
overall go above and beyond for the program.

Flight 93
Memorial
Students and Faculty visited the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville,PA. Students in the Honors seminar “Crimes
against Humanity, Humanity against Crimes” have been studying the 9/11 attacks this semester.

campus and also getting to know different people on campus.
I am thankful for all the opportunities that the Honors

As all of us know, Dr. Solberg will be retiring from his role of Honors Director and Professor at Edinboro University.
Dr. Solberg has been an English professor at Edinboro since 1989, and has been the Honors College Director since 2017.
To his honors students he was more than just the Honors College Director. He served as a role model, mentor, Horror
Film expert, and Jeopardy contestant extraordinaire. On behalf of the Honors Students, we want to thank Dr. Solberg for
his dedication and hard-work for not only to the program but to his students. We wish him the very best in his future
endeavors and congratulate him on his retirement.
In case you’re wondering, Dr. Solberg has promised he will come back for
Halloween Horror Night for many years to come.
