Himes Hall at one time was the home to Lock Haven University's Recreation Management Department.
In 1978, Himes Hall was moved from its original location so that Robinson Hall could be constructed on the site. In this photo, Himes Hall is up on blocks in preparation for relocation to its present site next to Thomas Field House.
Jesse Himes is shown with President Richard T. Parsons at the 1966 dedication of the Jesse Scott Homes Special Education Building.
From 1920 to 1936, Jesse Himes served as the Director of Primary Education at the Centraal State Normal School and then the Lock Haven State Teachers College when it was named in 1927.
