    Transcript: Wilkes-Barre, Pa. December 18th, 1918. Mr. F. H. Jenkins, Bloomsburg, Pa. Dear Sir: Received you note of December 14, 1918, today. D. F. enlisted December 10, 1917 in the medical corps went to Fort Slocum N.Y., then to Camp Greenleaf, Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia was promoted to sergeant February 21, 1918. Thence to Texas as a member of the fifth (5) Division Reg. Went overseas in April. After being overseas, asked for a transfer and was fortunate in receiving it, in the Chemical Warfare Service. Was in that branch of service two months, when he received his warrant for sergeant in that branch of service. He is, or at the time of his last writing November 5, 1918 was sergeant in that branch of service, and is a member of the Army of Occupation. Any more information regarding D.F. will be pleased to send you. Sincerely, Mrs. Daniel Mulligan. 747 E. Northampton Street, Wilkes-Barre Pa.
