The Site - Bloomsburg State College students are shown observing the area in which the Marine Science Consortium of Pennsylvania and Colleges and Universities was held this past summer. The purpose of the Consortium was to promote teaching and research in marine sciences and to achieve their goals by pooling resources and coordinating efforts and activities in marine sciences. From left, Harry Spatz, William Tobias, Roy Hoglund, Gary Hitz, Galen Wood, Eric Landers, Marvin Serhan and James Lauffer, assistant professor of geography at the college. Absent when picture was taken were Donald Knorr, Gilbert Longwell and Douglas Morrow.
