Item Description
Dr. Harvey A. Andruss, President, left, and Boyd Buckingham, Director of Development, are shown examining a stone uncovered by workmen placing a new utility line near the site of the former Noetling Hall. The stone had been placed there by the Class of 1874, but over the years had sunk in the ground to a depth of four to five feet. A sealed metal box in the stone was found to be empty.
