From The Presidents Office - Dr. Harvey A. Andruss, president of Bloomsburg State College, came to Bloomsburg in 1930 to organize and head the Division of Business Education. He was appointed Dean of Instruction in 1937 and began his duties as President in August 1939, when Dr. Francis B. Haas was appointed State Superintendent of Public Instruction.
