Dr. Linus Pauling, sponsor of the Scientists' Committee on Loyalty Problems, is attacked for being the welcoming man for the "Red Dean" in the United States.  He is also, the paper maintains, an ardent supporter of many communist fronts.  Bishop Oxnam also is accused by Counterattack of supporting a pro-Soviet agenda, while the AFL and the CIO are reported to be closing ranks against the communist danger.  A speech by Max Eastman is hailed for its bluntly anti-communist stance, as are moves by the American Veterans Committee against communists.  The author also urges action against communist fronts soliciting funds.
