    Note

This edition begins by examining the  plans of the "Commugressives" after the defeat of Wallace.  The author goes on to describe the communist attempts to postpone, or even cancel, the trial of William Z. Foster because of his heart condition.  Herbert Evatt of Australia and Trygve Lie of Norway come under fire for yielding to Stalinist demands on Berlin.  Counterattack accuses communists in Hawaii of attempting to oust the Governor and maintains that their power is growing in labor, especially among the longshoremen and brewery workers.  The trip of the "Red Dean" continues to be covered and it serves as an opportunity for the newsletter to draw attention to communists in American academia, churches, and the media.
