Advisor’s Reports
Make sure you use your NMUN resources for your position papers
They like to see academic articles, UN resolutions, info from the website
President’s Report
Background guides are out, so we will have them officially printed.
If you have your binder from last year, please let us know so we don’t have to make
repeat copies.
We want your rough drafts for your position papers finished by the first week of class, as
our first meeting will be a working session.
This allows for multiple rounds of edits.
Your final draft is due to us February 18th, 2020.
The official deadline is March 1st, 2020.
We have three committees open, so we will have to drop at least one.
We want to take at least fourteen people.
Vice President’s Report
No Report.
Treasurer’s Report
Keep pushing the Yankee Candle Fundraiser, we still only have one sale.
We will inquire about the amount made at the Brewing Company.
$298.98 was made from canning at Walmart.
Secretary’s Report
I re-registered us on CU Connect.
Dr. Dale strongly supports the idea of Model UN as an RUO. The next step is to type and
submit a proposal to the president.
