CUMUN Oct. 7 Meeting Minutes
Attendance: Taylor, Bridget, Brendon, Joseph, Austin, Dr. Trejos
President: No funding available for D.C. conference, no late fee if anyone wants to go by Friday Oct. 9,
do not want to use Self-Support money for D.C. conference because NYC conference is so expensive,
unsure of practicality of virtual conference, will help any club members that wish to attend to get
everything organized, not going to attend personally, will know country for NYC conference by midNovember
Treasurer: may be 2 members interested in going; Yankee Candle no longer offers fundraising; not
enough money to attend D.C. for out of pocket cost ($95)
Secretary: not interested in D.C. conference due to cost; club budget money is more important for NYC
conference; will check with personal advisor if possible for student teachers to attend NYC conference
Dr. Trejos: Model UN course approved. Will be “ECON 324”, offered during Winter Intersession, once
official information is approved will distribute information to different departments to advertise course
offering to students
