No additions or corrections to the minutes, minutes stand approved.
OFFICER REPORTS
President
Leader in Action Conference is November 7. Check in is 9:30-10:00. Opening
remarks are 10:30. It ends at 5:00.
Thank you to all the new members who came to the New Member orientation!
Excuse forms procedure for Panhel events is as follows:
If the required number of women cannot attend the event, each member needs to
send an excuse. Example. If the event is 25% mandatory, eight girls need to go.
If eight girls cannot go, then each girl needs to send an excuse. Furthermore, you
can only send a Chapter excuse if your Chapter has an event the night of the
event, such as Initiation ect.
VP of Committees
On November 12th at 6:30 is the Academic Reception.
An All Greek Retreat next semester will take place! Both sororities and
fraternities will participate in this. More information to come later!
VP of Recruitment
We passed around a sign up sheet for the girls who signed up to help with
recruitment events. If your chapter did not sign up this week, make sure you
email R.A.ANDERSON@EAGLE.CLARION.EDU
If girls want to be recruitment counselors, start talking to them about it. There will
be applications and updates on the process soon.

The budget is $7,635.04
The unallocated budget is $1,315.04
The rough estimate from the Family Cook-off is $2,250. We are waiting on one
invoice and charcoal for the grill.
If you are spending money for an event, sponsored by Panhel, please give Heather
your receipts so she can reimburse you.
There were some Chapters that were fined, because not 100% of their New
Member class did not attend the New Member Orientation or did not send an
excuse. The fines are due by November 11th. You can drop the money off at
Kelly Ryan’s office or make an appointment with Heather. You can contact
Heather at 724-967-2154. If you do not pay by November 11th you will not be
able to vote at Panhel, starting on November 18th.
Advisor
Leaders in Action Conference registration is on CUConnect. Everyone should
register and send an excuse by October 31st, and excuses will be due November
6th.
Kelly needs Anti Hazing forms signed by the new members who were not at the
New Member Orientation. We passed them out tonight to the Chapters who were
not there.
Kelly passed out academic reports, and they will also be posted on CUConnect.
Kelly has information on Rethink Greek. She has a handout to pass out, and we
will discuss Rethink Greek during Discussion.
There are Chapters whose rosters who have hidden members. This is not
exceptable. Please inform your President to check this, and change it if members
are labeled this.
The ABLE reception is November 17th at 8:00 Moore Hall. If your Chapters
volunteered at the Halloween Party, then you will be recognized! Panhel will be
recognized as well, and given an award. Please try and go!
Event registration forms for parties or formals involving alocohol can be picked
up at Kelly’s, Shawn’s, or Brian’s office.
If your Chapter needs a letter for Nationals stating you are in good standing, let
Kelly know.
We are still looking for leaders to be facilitators for freshman. Email me at
KRYAN@CLARION.EDU to sign up.
There will be no meeting on November 11th. Your Chapters will be invited to
Equity Diner that night. It will not be mandatory. It is from 7-9 in the MPR and
RSVP by November 4th to asalsgiver@clarion.edu

December 3 is the Sisterhood Retreat. Victoria will be emailing the
representative from each Chapter on what they will be in charge of doing.
IFC:
November 2nd Sigma Chi will be doing their Castles for Care event
Baccus Gamma
November 18th at 7pm 7 there will be an all-Greek alcohol event. The speaker is
going to be Jimmy McGee
April 7th is the set date for the mix off

We are starting to plan the Academic Reception. Please get a head count of girls
that will go from your Chapter, and bring that number back to us next week

At the “So much to be thankful for” event, Panhel will have a table, and the
activity will deal with Circle of Sisterhood.

Our TLC came last week
ANNOUNCEMENTS and DISCUSSION:
On Monday, November 2nd, at 7pm in Gemmell, the Castles for Care event will
take place. Teams of five are needed to compete in a “not so average” blanket
fort contest. You are allowed to use standard tools, wooden structures, electronics
such as game consoles, TVs, or Christmas lights. However, no power tools are
allowed! All blankets are donated to families in need during the winter seasons,
and each team must supply AT LEAST 5 blankets.
Deepher Dude Competition is on December 5th! The charity event is to benefit
the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Any male can participate! Please let
organizations with men in it be aware of this event, and try to persuade them to
participate! All the organization has to do is sponsor that male! Individuals
participating must email Kate Hammond at

Bre opened the floor for discussion on where Academic Reception should be
either at Moore Hall or at the Library level A. We agreed to wait for the head
count and then decide where to have it.
Rethink Greek is how Chapters discuss Greek life to non-Greek life individuals.
It is a marketing campaign that happens on campus. It will help Chapters spread
the positive story of Greek life.
