KEYNOTE SPEAKER: JEANNETTE HUBBARD, EDUCATOR & PASTOR
Reverend Hubbard is employed at Westminster College as director of diversity services where she is responsible for promoting
and advancing diversity among faculty, staff and the student body. Hubbard is one of the founding members of the Western
Pennsylvania Diversity Directors Consortium (WPDDC), an organization committed to creating a professional academic
network to diminish social isolation for affiliated institutions’ directors and the students they assist. Hubbard has participated
and completed numerous diversity workshops through the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education
and is a certified trainer through the National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) Train the Trainer.
Hubbard is the senior pastor of New Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church in Aliquippa. Additionally, she is the
conference secretary of the Pittsburgh Annual Conference where she assists the Right Reverend McKinley Young, presiding
prelate of the Third Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.
