Donated from Baltimore, Maryland in May 1953 with the following note:
"The flowers in this herbarium were picked fifty-eight years ago this spring on the hills
not far from the (then) State Normal and mounted as required in the course. The
herbarium has been among the souvenirs in my house in several States and now returns to
the native hills of the flowers. I was privileged to spend only the last term of a junior year
in the Normal but received an inspiration which has richly blessed the years since 1895."
