Contains two Volumes and a loose booklet of the Advance. These include the
name and picture of each faculty member in the society, a brief history, pictures
and drawings of State Normal School, advertisements, and obituaries for deceased
students and faculty
Constitution and By-laws (1 Folder), 1900-10
Contains four Constitution and By-laws handbooks
Miscellaneous (1 Folder), 1922-39
Includes one of the original receipts used by the society, two original statements
for purchased goods, and an article published in the Morning Press titled “Philo
Literary Society First on Local Scene”
Normal Mentor (2 Folders), 1875-77
Includes publishing’s from Volume 1, numbers 3, 5, 6, and 8; publishing’s from
Volume 2, numbers 1, 7, and 12; and a floor plan of the second floor of the New
Dormitory Building of the State Normal School
