Alpha Psi Omega Minute Books, 1934-1981
Box 1:
Book 1
December 1934 - April 1963
A collection of meeting notes from the first couple meetings of the Alpha Psi Omega
society on Bloomsburg campus. Some meetings were formal and held in Carver Hall,
while other were less formal and held at Miss. Johnston’s home. Some were directly after
meetings for the Dramatics club. New pledges and election information is of course in
included. Also details for planning the banquet and other events that were discussed
during the meetings.
Book 2
September 1963 - May 1972
Standard minute book with notes from Alpha Psi Omega meetings. Meetings date from
September 1963 to May of 1972. Other things included are listing of members, and their
attendance to meetings, and whether or not they paid their dues. Meeting notes also
include nomination and elections of new executive members for each semester. For some
of the semesters, executive members also provide their address and nickname.
Book 3
September 1972 - January 1981
Third Book is similar to the first but covers from September of 1972 through January of
1981. Officers are listed by position and year on the insides of the hard cover. They
discussed upcoming events and meetings, along with needs like security, and technology
that may be needed for those events. Books also includes member’s attendance and a
record of their paid/unpaid dues for the society.
