Kehr Union
Scrapbooks, 1973-1988
The collection contains nine scrapbooks and one photo album. Early years include building
directory, and information about Marguerite W. Kehr, building layouts, and other information
given to students. “You and Your Union” are included in the first four books, it maps out the
utilization policy, activities, services, and board member information. Clippings from the
Maroon and Gold, The Voice, and the Press Enterprise detail the news about the building and
events. Articles were written mostly during high traffic weeks like Siblings’ Weekend, and
Homecoming. Programs and registration forms for events also are included. Scrapbooks dating
after 1980 tend to include more clippings about campus in general.
