Grants and Scholarships – General, 1966-1996
9 folders
Covers scholarships, grants, and research grants students received based on their major and
program. It would have a running total of each based on the amount of money left in each fund.
2 folders, 1966-1986
Contains a general journal of B.S.C Indirect Costs. Contains sections of grants such as one for
Vocational Education, Act 101, BEOG, CWS, DFAFS, and nursing scholarships. Each year
listed each category above, and kept accounts of each listing revenue, cash, budgets, etc.
1 folder, 1977-1980
Covers numerous ways students were given money such as DFAFS grants, BEOG grants, CWS
grants, CETA grants, Act 101 grants, and Nursing Scholarships. Also lists other sundry sections
such as College Library Account, B.S.C Indirect Costs, and sections on M.W. Wood and Dr. J.
Cole.
3 folders, 1981-1984
Covers Title IV funds, DFAFS grants, college work-study (named federal work-study in 19951996), and Pell Grants. Overall, these covered the financial aid students received through federal
grants. Each year recorded has a corresponding section for each grant listed.

Covers PHEAA and SOEG grants. PHEAA stands for Pennsylvania Higher Education
Assistance Agency which is a leading provider of student financial aid services. SOEG stands for
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant which is a financial aid program for lowincome students. Overall, this book covers financial aid grants and opportunities given to
students, and how much was given each year.
