EDINBORO UNIVERSITY
ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
ATHLETIC STAFF
Edinboro University took a historic step in its athletic program seven
years ago with the induction of 18 individuals into its newly created Athletic
Hall of Fame. The University honored 18 charter members who had distin
guished themselves in their associations with athletics at Edinboro either by
virtue of their performances or by their meritorious efforts on behalf of the Uni
versity’s athletic program.
Tonight, the Fighting Scots Athletic Department takes special pride,
once again, by honoring eight new members with their induction into the Hall of
Fame. Each new inductee or representative will be presented a plaque which
identifies his or her athletic service to the University. A duplicate plaque will be
placed in the Athletic Hall of Fame trophy case located in the lobby of McComb
Fieldhouse.
As an added highlight, Edinboro University will also present its annual
Outstanding Athletic Contributor, Coach of the Year and Senior Athletes of the
Year awards. These honors are bestowed annually, and selection is made solely
by the University’s athletic staff members.
