Dear Dr. Marsh:
Recalling our recent telephone conservation, I am delighted
to learn of your anticipated project to document through
film strips and oral recordings a late Victorian farm complex
in north western Pennsylvania.
As I had indicated nothing has been done, to the best of my
knowledge, to document the farm complex in your area of the
Commonwealth. This type of activity has generally been confined
to central and south eastern Pennsylvania and focusing upon
eighteenth century farms. Consequently your effort should be
looked upon as a pioneering one at that, particularly in your
area of the state.
We would be interested in acquiring for our library a set of
the film strips and tapes generated by the project. If you desire
we will be happy to review the material for you.
Wishing you much success in your project, I am.
Sincerely yours.
