A pAir of Edinboro State College professors will con-,
duct aa in-depth study of tke Todd Goodell farm o^,^^ ;
Rta 6® Edinboro as part of a grant-funded project'^ •
intended to trace the borough’s rural roots.

The professdrs, Dr. John L. Marsh, English depart­
ment, and Karl Nordberg, educational foundations de­
partment,have been named as co-recipients of a grant
,
funding thdir project by the Public Committee for the,; '
Humanitiesin Pennsylvania.'

SThe , farm study, /’‘The Rural Esperience iiii
Northwestern Pennsylvania: yesterday, today and to­
morrow,” will be presented at 'a public workshop once
it is completed.
• >< Co-sponsoring the project are the Borough of Edin-'
boro, the Edinboro Historical Society and Edinboro '
State College.

The two men previously collaborated on a history of
the borougE ‘‘Edinboro: a dirt street town.”
Both men aim at presenting work locally which will >
help to preserve the' borough’s rural heritage but
which will also explore present and future for the .
