Miss Elliott spent the summer at
Columbia University in New York
City pursuing the study of English.
Following the close of the summer
term there she made a sight-seeing
tour of Boston, Providence and
Brooklyn.
During the six weeks summer term
Miss Meitzler taught at the Horace
Mann School, Columbia University,
New York City. The remainder of
the summer she gpent at her home in
Lehighton, Pa.
The last cards from Dr. and Mrs.
Blaisdell report a splendid time at
Honolulu, with Japan as the next ob-
jective point.
~ QOur principal, Dr. Eisenberg, is a
very busy man, as a glance at his en-
gagement book would testify. Last
Tuesday, October 7, he attended the
meeting of the Board of Trustees of
our normal school, and on Wednes-
day evening attended the meeting of

ers’ institute at Cowdersport, Pa.
Tuesday, the twenty-first, he will be
at another institute at Franklin, Pa.
and on the twenty-seventh will be in
Indiana County.
On Wednesday, October 1, the sen-
ior class held an election of officers.
As a result the new officers are:-
President, Oliver Gordon, Vice-Pres-
ident, Joseph Carroll; Secretary, Al-
ice Jane Smith and Treasurer, Helc
C. Cooper.
The Dr. Murphy Memorial Commit-
tee and the Dr. Maltby Committee
are to have a point meeting in ti.-
near future.
Miss Adda M. Elliott spent the

week end at her home in
