By far the most exciting game on
Saturday night was the' scrub game.
The fraterni ty team from Bucknell
was fast and game . They led the
scoring in the beginning1 of the game. They , however, were up against
Bloomsburg Spirit.
In the second half Hawkins and
Stoker kept the boys from Lewisburg down and slipped in a few on
their own hook. They looked pretty
good in that game. M'Grath usually
got the tap but our opponents had
alert and fast guards which took away a large part of our advantages.
When the score was tie the audience was tense and cheering lustily.
The scrubs , however , began to show
the effects of their coaching and began to pile up a presentable score.
They won the game, 3 1-25 . Th e score
at the end of the first period was
10-10.
The game Friday mght with some
boys from Mainville was pretty sloppy. Passing' was bad and shooting
was off but the Reserves succeeded
in coming up from behind to win.
The only outstanding features of the
game were the work of Yarshefskie
and Hawkins. Both are playing well
consisten tly*
TWO INTERESTING PICTURES
There is a great difference between
the Then and Now of the School,
when the two photographs on the

with the other. A faculty of twenty
against one of over fifty. A small
sprinkling of college training over
against a coll ege trained body .
Teachers obliged to teach the largest
variety of subj ects compared with
highly trained specialists. This is all
due to changes that have come about
during the last thirty years. What
will the next thirty years bring?

Economy can be carried so far that it results in a
downright loss.
Poor , cheap leather and bad workmanship cannot
produce good shoes, even though they look good and are
advertised as such.
A raincoat that leaked the first time you wore it
which you bought because it was cheap, was a costly
investment , as you knew when you looked at your damaged and stained dress.
Milk is always white to the eye , but much of it has
been skimmed and watered , so tha t y our baby does not
thrive upon it.

By far the most exciting game on
Saturday night was the' scrub game.
The fraterni ty team from Bucknell
was fast and game . They led the
scoring in the beginning1 of the game. They , however, were up against
Bloomsburg Spirit.
In the second half Hawkins and
Stoker kept the boys from Lewisburg down and slipped in a few on
their own hook. They looked pretty
good in that game. M'Grath usually
got the tap but our opponents had
alert and fast guards which took away a large part of our advantages.
When the score was tie the audience was tense and cheering lustily.
The scrubs , however , began to show
the effects of their coaching and began to pile up a presentable score.
They won the game, 3 1-25 . Th e score
at the end of the first period was
10-10.
The game Friday mght with some
boys from Mainville was pretty sloppy. Passing' was bad and shooting
was off but the Reserves succeeded
in coming up from behind to win.
The only outstanding features of the
game were the work of Yarshefskie
and Hawkins. Both are playing well
consisten tly*
TWO INTERESTING PICTURES
There is a great difference between
the Then and Now of the School,
when the two photographs on the
bulletin board are compared one
with the other. A faculty of twenty
against one of over fifty. A small
sprinkling of college training over
against a coll ege trained body .
Teachers obliged to teach the largest
variety of subj ects compared with
highly trained specialists. This is all
due to changes that have come about
during the last thirty years. What
will the next thirty years bring?

Economy can be carried so far that it results in a
downright loss.
Poor , cheap leather and bad workmanship cannot

advertised as such.
A raincoat that leaked the first time you wore it
which you bought because it was cheap, was a costly
investment , as you knew when you looked at your damaged and stained dress.
Milk is always white to the eye , but much of it has
