Lack of Appreciation.
There is no doubt that our school surely shows a lack of appreciation in
some of its activities. There has not been a 100 per cent, response to anything this yeai\
Our Normal School is not so small that it cannot publish a good school
paper. Schools of smaller enrollments publish excellent papers. In this
issue we might as well mention that the school paper is the voice of the stud
ent body, faculty, and alumni. From all appe arances the student body ol

Fla gstaff State Norm al School of
Flagstaf f , Arizona , by a bill recent ly
signed by Governor Hunt , has been
made into a state Tea chers ' College. Flagstaff was also very fortunate
when the appropriations were mad e.
for two years
Their appropriation
1925-1927, was $331,444. Of th is
amount , $186,675 is appro priated for
1925-1926 and the balance , $144, 769
for the year 1926-1927. In the first
year's appropriation a sum of $51,775
is set aside for a new gymnasium.

A Farewell Banquet was given at Centra l State Normal School in honor
of Mr. Drum, who handed in his resignation as principal. Mr. Drum is being succeeded by Dallas W. Armstrong.
