Postcard with printed black and white photograph with patches of royal blue coloration added to photo for printing. Main street appears unpaved. A wooden pole with cable is featured prominently. The caption reads "Main St. Shippensburg, Pa." Attached to postcard rector is date "Sept. 19. '06 - "\nVerso of postcard depicting Main Street, Shippensburg, and addressed to: "Miss Kate E. Grove Pennington [New Jersey]". Bottom left handwritten cursive transcription: "E glantine"\nTwo post office stamps on verso. Both on right.
