The caption reads "Main St. Shippensburg, Pa." Attached to postcard rector is date "Sept. 19. '06 - "\nVerso of postcard depicting Main Street, Shippensburg, and addressed to: "Miss Kate E. Grove Pennington [New Jersey]". Bottom left handwritten cursive transcription: "E glantine"\nTwo post office stamps on verso. Both on right. Appears sent from "SHIPPENSBURG, PA SEP19 9AM 1906" and received "PENNINGTON, N.J. SEP 2-- 9AM 1906"

Verso of Normal Avenue image. Has two post stampes. The stamp on the right reads "SHIPPENSBURG SEP 14 9AM 1906" and the stamp on the left is legible as "SEP 14 6PM 1906 REC'D". Possible part of original postcard missing, including possible hand-writing at bottom of verso. Verso addressed to "Miss Kate E. Grove Pennington."
