Your resident note taker: Thomas Csorba Robotics event last week was cancelled. We didn’t have enough officers when attempting to renew AITP, so Noah Kessler was appointed chair of Public Relations. Coding practice for the PACISE competition this spring will be on Tuesdays or Thursdays, with definite times being hammered out before next week hopefully. Don’t be afraid to check it out, there’s always room for fresh blood! PACISE is coming soon, on April 3rd and 4th and we’re trying to get complete reimbursement for going. March 27th and 28th is Bloomcon, and we’re trying to gauge interest in the event. If you have any interest in going, please let Kayln know. Our Gamejam idea will be postponed until we can put out feelers for whether people think it’s something they’d like to participate in. If we do it, we need to figure out software and/or languages. Probably be leaning towards either a 4hr or a weeklong Gamejam. TechFloor has the list of what AITP is going to buy. Buying will be soon. March 19th (Thursday) will be CS department day, bringing as many people who applied to Clarion to talk about the major and having students talk to a panel of current students. We need to figure out how to get people interested in the major as well, like demonstrating projects and showing off TechFloor. The school of Education is still hosting the Robotics Competition on Thursday and Friday of Spring Break. Come if you want. We understand if you don’t want to.
