Meeting Minutes
Soles for Souls
Last year we collected over 200 shoes
The collection area is in Cortland Ohio
Collection area is a storage area that collects shoes until they have a certain
number and then have a truck come pick them up
We need to fill out a form if you are dropping shoes off in person
We will put a note on our board about what we did and send a write up to Tina Horner
and the Call
Things we did wrong last time:
Do advertising in more places than just Still
Use storage bins from DG or Walmart
Put boxes in Dorms, library, Still, Gemmell, Commons
Get the community involved:
Churches
Visitor Center
Library
Global Links
P.E.A.C.E. Club should consider volunteering at the Global Links facility
Habitat for Humanity
Taylor will organize the trip
In the spring semester
We will reach out to H4H
We will talk to ABLE about their trip last year.
Agenda for this semester
Leah will reach out to the potential members and invite people to connect on CU Connect
We will get Posters out with updated times
We will get info out for Soles for Souls
We will livestream the Bloomsberg Conference
