PEACE Club October 21, 2019 Meeting Minutes Advisor’s Report We need to start sending our promotional stuff to Michelle Kube. President’s Report There is a group of freshman girls are currently doing a coat drive. We are sponsoring a coat drive box in Still. Bloomberg streaming We have the room for the Bloomsburg but need to set up catering. We received permission from Bloomsburg University so that we can get a flyer made and send out an email about bonus points to professors Soles for Souls will run through November 25 It is an event on CU Connect and have it advertised on the tvs around campus Once posters are printed, we will distribute them We need to update our bulletin Board We will include pictures from our previous campus involvement Quotes about why econ is important We will put PEACE Flyers up on the board We will likely do this on Monday during our normal meeting time. Vice President’s Report No Report Treasurer’s Report To unfreeze our budget, we need to demonstrate attendance at our meetings and events both through our minutes and through the Corq Check-In app. We also need to look into fundraising opportunities. Dine to Donates are very easy Subway Daddy’s Coffee and Donuts or Bake sales are an option Requires special application through Chartwells Kettle corn sale, Daffins Candy, Stromboli sale Secretary’s Report I have made our meetings an event in CU Connect and will be advertising them on the TVs around Campus. This allows us to use Corq Check-In to monitor our attendance, which is a requirement by CSA to unfreeze our budget. We need to set the area we are willing to travel to and then register for a specific site. Then Taylor will call the specific site and register our organization.
