Cell Culture – Contaminated flask found this morning. If contamination is found, autoclave the
incubator shelves, and spray down the interior chamber with 70% EtOH.
Prep Room – All good.
Rat Room – Lineage offspring of rats are inbred and infertile, so we must introduce new fertile
rats to increase birthrate. BALB/C are still pumping out babies.

Journal club Friday the 9th before break! Dr. Smith is presenting
Next lab meeting is the election of officers for the 2017-2018 year. We have the following
positions if anyone is interested:
o President
o Vice President
o Secretary
o Treasurer
o Amending the position of Public Relations into the Bylaw (TRMC Constitution)
