Cell Culture – Cells are being frozen down for break! BTV are the only flasks that are being kept
over break.
Prep Room – All good
Rat Room – Zoology rats were sick and in the same room as our rats, so they were removed and
disinfected. Keeping an eye on the healthy rats.
Compound P – Went to Penn State to do a Liquid Chromatography Time of Flight Mass Spec
again to analyze the molecular weights of all the compounds in a solution. This trip gave a great
replication to their purification!

o Abstracts are due to Smith on the 20th! They are to be submitted to CPUB by the 26th.
Incident with media coming in, know where things are stored!
o Room Temp – 22 Celsius
o Refrigerator – 4 Celsius
o Freezer – -20 Celsius
o Deep Freeze – -80 Celsius
