Make sure everyone is disposing of non-biohazard in the trash and not the biohazard!
Any full chemical waste bottles that are full, notify Dr. Smith ASAP to have it removed. Full
waste DOES NOT leave the chemical fume hood.
Micropipettors should never leave the calibration range (i.e. P200 shouldn’t be set anywhere
outside of 20uL-200uL). If you don’t know how to use one, LEARN IT before using it!
Dr. Natasha Dias has a 5% CO2 incubator on the counter to the right of the hood. Do not use her
incubator unless your cultures require 5%. Smith Lab incubator is 10% CO2.
