I hope you are enjoying the lovely late spring weather with a glass of lemonade or iced tea, or something stronger if you imbibe. You’ve certainly earned it! On the issue of consolidation, there will be a meeting next weekend of the Edinboro, California, and Clarion APSCUF presidents, VPs, and other senior leadership with President Jamie Martin and other state leaders and staff. There are still many questions to be resolved and I hope that we can make progress on them. I’ll provide a report after the meeting. If you’re not teaching a summer class right now, I recommend that turn off your email for a while and enjoy your favorite summertime pursuits. As for me, I’m going camping at one of our lovely state parks. Enjoying the natural surroundings and relaxing by a campfire are exactly what I need right now! Chapter President Joyce Overly and Office Manager Jan Walters attended this event along with a few other Clarion APSCUF Members (Amy Love, Paul Woodburne, Marc Sanko, Jeanne Slattery).
