Edinboro University of Pennsylvania About the Coach Spring Season Preview Bob Orr enters his fourth year as head coach of the Fighting Scot golf team. During his four year playing career at Allegheny College, Bob earned three letters and was named to the all-con ference team twice. The high point in On's career came in his senior season when he received AllAmerican honors. Orr graduated from Allegheny with a degree in history in 1981. His vast knowledge and experience will cer tainly promote success in the Scots' golf program. Coach Orr and his wife, Kathleen currently reside in Edinboro. They are the proud parents of two sons, Johnathan (6) and Christt^her (4). Aside from his coaching duties. Bob works year round helping manage the Culbotson Hills Golf Club. The Boro linksters will face a great deal of tough competition throughout the 1993 spring season. Coach Orr will need some inexperienced underclass men to step up their play a notch if they are going to continue to be competitive. The Scots’ rigorous schedule includes trips to both Indiana and Slippery Rock, both of whom split three fust-place finishes in Edinboro's six fall tourna ments. Edinboro will look to the leadership and steady play of second year starter Justin Wysocki to guide them this spring. Also in contention for the top spot will be Eric Chuderewicz, who has started a team high 11 straight tournaments for Orr. Among the inexperienced youngsters who had more than admirable seasons were Greg Long, Geoff Hirz and Todd Henry. All three showed they were c£^able of playing well in the fall season. Orr knows these three have great potential and can bring their games to the next level. Mike Siembida, Kyle Longstreet and Greg Smith saw tournament action and will also be vying for playing time in 1993. 1993 Spring Schedule March 24-28 Camp LeJune Marine Corps Invitational April 10 Edinboro Invitational April 14 lUP Invitational April 15-16 Slippery Rock Invitational April 23-24 Allegheny Invitational April 27-29 PSAC Championships Player Profiles Justin Wysocki Eric Chuderewicz Greg Long Geoff Hirz Todd Henry Mike Siembida N.
