Joe Yukica, head football coach at Boston
College, is the featured speaker for this year's
annual spring sports banquet.

A Midland, Pennsylvania product, Yukica has
posted back-to-back winning seasons wi-bh the Eagles
in his first two years at -the Boston College helm.

As head coach of the University of New Hami>shire he was selected New England Coach of the Year
in 1967 after serving as an assistant at Dartmouth.
Yukica played his college football at Penn
State under the legendary Rip Engle and was one of
the top receivers in the East.
He began his coaching career at Central
Dauphin High School where he finished his final two
seasons 19-1 and received "Coach of the Year" hon­
ors for -the state of Pennsylvania.
Yukica's col­
legiate apprenticeship began in I960 at West
Chester where he was an end coach.
The Rams were
undefeated that season and won the Pennsylvania
State College Championship.
