Among the group and President Soltz. Attendees spent two days meeting with state representatives, senators, and legislative staff about the State System. Governor Corbett's proposed budget cuts in higher education have shaken leaders across the board. PASSHE upholds its mission across the fourteen universities in offering a quality higher education at the most affordable cost among all four-year institutions in the Commonwealth. The purpose of the two-day visit was to spread this message and educate the legislation about the vast opportunities, benefits, and significance PASSHE brings to Pennsylvania. Bloomsburg delegates joined representatives from each of the fourteen universities, the university presidents, Chancellor Cavanaugh, and his staff in meeting with Representatives George, Hanna, and Reed and Senators White and Gordner.
