PENNSYLVANIA 17815 Fellow Students, Having had the opportunity of serving as President of the Community Government Association during a momentous period of our school's history, I am aware of our reflection on changes during a time of conflicts and crises throughout the world. The growth of our College was a contributing factor influencing the need and occurrence of these changes. The increase in recreational activities and facilities, the reviewing and updating of college policies, the movement towards student responsibility, Freshman Orientation, the revision of the Community Government Association's Constitution, and the developing of rapport among the reorganization of the different governing bodies have highUghted the 1965-66 College year. Name Entertainment moved into the foreground of our "The Four Seasons" and the "Lettermen" paved the way Big social activities as for future con- certs. I believe that one of the more important contributions we students have made of the Standards Committee. This enthusiasm for student enforcement of rules year was the establishment and regulations indicates a mature in the last student body and proves to be conducive to better respect and understanding between the administration and ourselves. To guarantee such progress, we must create new ideals, we have this year by unresting interest and dedication. As our school year commenses, initiate new programs, and support these developments as marks the beginning of a richer life and a future of unlimited opportunities. My words embodied in a quotation once made by Emerson: "This time like all we but know what to do with it." it feelings can best be expressed through the times My is a very good one if personal appreciation is extended to the administration for their guidance and understanding in our forward who have contributed much time and energy when executing their specific pursuits, to the officers of College Council .duties, to the members members of College Council for their interest and cooperation during this challenging year, and Community Government Association who have unselfishly supported and participated in our of the to all social activities. My work with the College government has been a most rewarding challenge. In retrospect, there are always areas where more could have been accompUshed; however, since there is no end to the paths of progress, we must pass this challenge on to those who follow.
