The carnival will be held in the West Lake Lane parking area across from Kiester a- partments, according to Dave Johnson, Student Activities advisor. The rides include the Rocket, the Tilt, the Scrambler, the Twister, the Rock'n’'Roll, and the Giant Swing. Two kiddie rides will also be provided. Music lovers can get their fill of the different types of live music offered this year. B.E. Taylor will return once again. Also present will be Sojourner, Token, Red Hot will be held on the College Union patio, added Johnson. The Spring Weekend mo- vie schedule beings Thurs- day, April 28 with Death Takes a Holiday. Early Fri- day evening My Favorite Year will be shown. Airplane I, Creepshow, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Halloween II, and Tex will be shown all night from midnight Friday to 7 a.m. An Officer and a Gen- tleman will be shown Satur- day and Sunday. A number cf contests and events will also mark this year's Spring Weekend. There will be a kite contest and frisbee target show. Any- one participating in these e- vents will recieve the items free, said Johnson.
